About Me

I’ve returned to Thinking and Inking because I miss writing about books. I’ve been here on-and-off for 6 years. In that time, I passed my GCSEs, my A-Levels, left school, went to Cambridge, graduated from Cambridge, was shortlisted for the Nan Shepherd Prize and I’m currently working in PR and Marketing.

If you’ve not been lurking on this corner of the internet since 2015, hello! I’m Izzy. I like reading lots of things, including nature and travel writing, fiction in all its guises, contemporary poetry and anything by Terry Pratchett. Welcome!
